1. You plug the two male ends of this harness into the two female plugs on your LED light.
2. You then run the single end of this harness back towards your power source.
3. At the other end, you connect it to a matching Trux S608, S610, or S612 Female Pigtail Harness (sold separately). That female pigtail then connects to your switch wiring.

This creates a clean, modular system. The connection at the light is secure and the wiring run is tidy. It also makes removing the light for service a 30-second job—just unplug it.

Installation Notes from the Shop

This is simple, but details matter. Use a sharp pair of wire cutters when cutting from the spool. Before you make the cut, plan your route. Leave yourself a little extra length for routing around sharp edges or for future adjustments—you can always shorten it, but you can’t add wire back.

Always use quality loom tubing or split braiding to protect the harness from heat, abrasion, and the elements. Secure it with zip ties or clamps every 12-18 inches. A loose wire is a wire that will eventually fail. The connectors are not waterproof on their own, so use dielectric grease in the connections and mount them in a relatively protected area, or use aftermarket seal caps if they’ll be fully exposed to weather.
